Sammy Got Hit By a Car
One year old Sammy is going into surgery for his broken leg last week. When his family found out the cost they called us for help and relinquished him. The poor boy has a really bad break. We need good thoughts for him to be able to keep his leg. There are two breaks and a floating section. Since it happened over 48hrs before we go him his chance of a successful surgery of placing a plate on to hold all 3 pieces in place weren’t good but Dr. Jackson made it work. Now we put him on bed rest to make sure it heals well. There is still a chance we might have to amputate. Once his leg is healed then he goes back for cherry eye surgery and a neuter. Poor boy. That is a lot of bed rest for a youngster.
