Saving lives one dog at a time.
Fresh out of the shelter and into the hearts of America, Floyd made his television debut on the Hallmark Channel’s “Home and Family” show with Larissa Wohl this week!!
Floyd spent the afternoon on Tuesday strolling around the show’s set on the Univeral Studios lot, soaking up the California sunshine and the Hollywood limelight. Floyd got to meet both human and K-9 celebrities including the 2019 Best in Rescue winner, Howard and the star of ABC’s “Schooled”, AJ Michalka! Everyone who met Floyd fell in love with him and commented on how calm and gentle he is.
It’s hard to believe that just a few short weeks ago, Floyd was sitting in a Downey shelter until we came to his rescue.
Floyd is your typical laid-back California dog. He just goes with the flow of everyday life, but is also looking for a bit of excitement. Floyd loves exploring his neighborhood on walks and then coming home to cuddle on the couch. Floyd gets along great with other dogs! He’d love a buddy to snuggle with in his forever home. Floyd is house trained, neutered, and up to date on his shots. Floyd is also crate trained, but would of course prefer to be hanging out with his family. He’s good with calm, older kids. He would do best in a home where he has the constant companionship of another dog or person. At just 8 years young, Floyd is the perfect family pup!
Floyd does have a hematoma in his right ear that he is seeing our vet for next week. If you would like to help cover his medical bills, donate here. Every dollar is greatly appreciated.
Who’s ready to give this sweet guy the best furever home ever?!
