Retirement Homes for Senior and Ill Cockers

We offer our senior and terminally ill cockers a permanent foster home where you supply all the love and attention and we take care of the medical bills.

One day we got a call from the Agoura Hills shelter. They had a 15 year old Cocker Spaniel girl dropped off at the shelter and wanted to know if we could take her in. We took one look at her sweet face and could not say no.

In a few days we got a call from the family who were having some very hard times and had to give Sadie up. Their relief and joy that Sadie had found a safe, loving place to stay was obvious. The family asked permission to visit and over the next year or so had some wonderful times with Sadie. She had a great last two years. She was loved and pampered until it was time to say good-bye. We will never forget her or any of our other Sanctuary “kids”.

Every time we think about Sadie and her family we are reminded exactly why we do what we do.  We are very fortunate to have your support so we can offer this gift to senior cockers with nowhere else to go.  If you make a donation to our Sanctuary program it will allow us to save one more senior cocker.
